Friday, November 18, 2011	Deadline for Sim City 4 Deluxe software Computer City Design (Disk) postmarked without deductions Submissions received after this date will receive deductions – 5 pt. deduction for each week. For example; submissions received after Nov. 18 will receive a 5 pt. deduction, submissions received after Nov. 25 will receive a 10 pt. deduction, etc. *NOTE: Date for Virtual City Benchmark Form TBD*
Friday, December 23, 2011	Deadline for Essays postmarked without deductions Submissions received after this date will receive deductions – 5 pt. deduction for each week. For example, submissions received after Dec. 23 will receive a 5 pt. deduction; submissions received after Dec. 30 will receive a 10 pt. deduction, etc.
Friday, January 13, 2012	Team attendance and names [Teachers, students, and mentors] confirmed for lunches, program and certificates Note: The requested information is critical by this date for inclusion in programs and for event day preparation. If information is not received, the school information is subject to exclusion from the event day program materials. Please contact the steering committee in advance if the deadline cannot be met.
Saturday, January 21, 2012	NC Region competition at NC State Talley Student Center on Main Campus (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Rain/Snow Day Saturday, DATE AND LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED *Cancellation information will be posted no later then 24 hours prior to competition.*
February 17-22, 2012	National Competition Washington D.C. Competition Held During National Engineers Week.
